As mentioned previously, I am quite busy with our home construction. Thankfully that is turning for the better, even though the weather has turned for the worse. The steel roof will be on soon, and all the windows are in. The three exterior doors are in place as well. We also put up our garage door yesterday, sealing the huge hole that was letting cold air into the home. Insulating the interior and exterior will be done soon as well. All in all, things are going well.
As for the book, not much writing has taken place. However, some business stuff has progressed. I’ve finally gotten all the formatting for Ingram Spark done and can utilize their distribution across the nation. I rounded out my BookBub account as well and posted my book on a few promotional sites. I have sold almost 100 copies as of today. So, I’m not rolling in money, but I am happy that people are still purchasing my book. Amazon reporting has also shown me that several thousand pages have been read through Kindle. That is heartening. It means that people are actually reading the damn thing! I’ve got three reviews, and they are all positive! Overall, I’m happy.
I wrote a short story for a contest a few months ago and haven’t done anything with it since besides the original submission. I didn’t win the contest, but I liked the idea enough that I wanted to continue picking away at it. So, I created a Wattpad account and posted it there.
